Our St. Pauly shed, at the rear of the parking lot, is a ministry of stewardship. Accepted are items of used clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, blankets & drapes. This is accessible 24/7 and is "self-serve" - just put your tied bags of items into the shed.
We do ask that you follow the posted rules: PLEASE do not put in appliances, toys, or other items which are not specifically listed. Also, please be sure your items are all placed in a tied bag. The young men who come to empty the shed onto the truck are not expected to sort or bag or tie--they only load what we've collected. Please be thoughtful as we serve the community and help others around the world.

Hayesville UMC supports Hillsdale CARES.
This is an organization which provides groceries and other necessities to families who need temporary assistance and who reside in the Hillsdale School District. We collect food and other household staples at the church, and deliver weekly grocery bags to several families. There are also other specialized opportunities for mission and ministry offered through Hillsdale Cares.
